How Difficulty Everest Base Camp Trek?

The Trek Begins

Moving forward, you will be trekking to Dingboche, which is at an elevation of 4350 m. You will get the chance to explore Dingboche the next day for acclimatization.

After spending two nights at Dingboche, you will head towards Lobuche. Located 12 km away from Dingboche with almost 7 hours of walking, you will come across Pheriche. Finally, you are now nearing toward the base camp.

From Lobuche, you will be hiking towards Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorekshep. Reaching an altitude of 5170 m, you will be walking for 8 hours. At the base camp, you will be able to see the Everest Peaks closely in front of your eyes. Now, from Gorekshep, you will be hiking up to Kalapatthar and down towards Pheriche, Namche Bazaar, and finally to Lukla airport.

 

The Return Trip

Your final destination is Kalapatthar, the place known to provide the best views of the Everest Himalayas. Once you reach here, you receive a gift- a heavenly feeling of standing right in front of the beautiful snow-clad peaks. With blissful memories, you now follow your footsteps back to Lukla.
