Even though the mainline Forza Motorsport series continues to push the envelope in terms of sheer realism, the FH4 Credits sub-franchise has generated a reputation that's a little more light-hearted and fun.Later this year, we are going to be receiving the fourth instalment in this rubber-burning show, now set in the damp United Kingdom.
"We always try to find a diverse setting that offers beautiful scenery and great driving roads, and Britain definitely provides all of that," he informs us. "However, it was our decision to implement dynamic seasons for the first time, which really cemented Britain as the ideal place for Forza Horizon 4. Britain is a seasonal location which affects completely throughout the year. In a way, choosing to do seasons meant we needed to do Britain, and picking Britain meant we needed to perform seasons."
Obviously, there is also the simple fact that Playground Games are located in the UK, so you would expect them to have an intimate understanding of the winding roads of Britain -- that should mean this is the most authentic Forza Horizon yet. "
We are a British studio -- all of our staff live here and a lot grew up , so we have a higher degree of familiarity with the subject matter on this project than ever before. When we've recreated places on Forza Horizon games, we've done from research and reference photography, and I believe we've done a great job.
