Rainbow Six Siege Year 3, Season 3: A Reworked Map & New Operators
May 2018 saw the launch of Rainbow Six Siege Credits this Operation Para Bellum update to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - the best competitive shooter in the marketplace - and along with two brand new operators (Maestro and Alibi) and brand new map (Villa), in addition, it brought with it the first official map buff for Club House.
That has been for Year 3. For Year 3, year 3, we have the just-revealed Operation Grim Sky upgrade which will include an entirely reworked map for Hereford base - the original prototype map for Rainbow Six Siege.
The goal using the map is to address issues with balance for play on Hereford, but into the theme, comes with an entire redesign with the layout and route changes and aesthetic.
Players can expect a new layout and the R6 Items map for a whole will be bigger, meaning that every floor is going to have a larger surface area. Level Designers also have added staircase to boost motion between each floor, raising the viability of rotations. On the other hand, the new Hereford Base will nevertheless maintain its"soul," making multiple nods to the old base. Level Artists took this opportunity to upgrade the map of the visual identity and colour palette, giving every flooring character.
