Whatever the case, I have not played Rainbow Six: Siege in rather a long time. It's a great sport, but getting back into it is kind of intimidating in the exact same way picking back up Counter-Strike after a very long time could be. Veteran players are R6 Items so great at this point that it may be hard to come back (or begin as a newcomer ) and endure at all. However, this new co-op mode sounds great and I'm going to give it a swing.
Rainbow Six Siege's Big'Operation Chimera' Update Is Out, Here's What Is In It
Rainbow Six Siege's Year 3 is upon usand with it one of the game's hardest updates to date: Operation Chimera, already live on PC and currently going live on PS4 and Xbox One globally. Rainbow Six Siege might have stumbled out of the gate when Ubisoft first introduced it late 2015, but since then it's become one of the very impressive turnaround stories in video games on this aspect of Diablo 3. In December the publisher and developer announced it had reached 25 million players across all platforms, and one imagines it has grown since then. Now Ubisoft kicks off Season 3 alongside some large-scale additions to the game. You can read the full patch notes , but here's what's inside:
The headline is Outbreak, a restricted time, 3-player cooperative manner that pits the Rainbow Six operators from a"mysterious parasite disease" at New Mexico. We will have more in the coming days, but I'm always a big fan of PvE modes in traditionally PvP games -- they violate the rhythm and enable you to have a different experience without leaving one match. Outbreak comes with three maps at a Resort, junkyard and Hospital, as well as five kinds of impressive-looking enemies. What we can see so far looks far more extraterrestrial and less zombie, and Ubisoft is promising an intense challenge that involves all kinds of different tactics against the various enemy types.
Additionally, we're getting two new game news, both billed as biohazard experts designed to counter the infected hordes. Oliver"Lion" Flament is a attacking operator from France that includes a drone capable of revealing enemy motion in a given area. In addition, we have Lera"Finka" Melnikova, another assaulting operator and native Chernobylian. Finka has special nanobots that boost HP and steady aim for herself and her staff. Both operators will be available in either the Outbreak event and the main game.
