Things on servers that are private are wow classic gold not the same. 1) You could not cast sunder armor when a rogue used exposed armor, messing up using the tank threat. 2) A LOT of mobs in 5 man dungeons were resistant to stuns, while privately servers you can stun nearly everything. 3) Meeting stones were actually a water down LFG tool, introduced at patch 1.3. 4) RNG was shifting between Gaussian, plain and statistical RNG, depending on the dungeon and patch. Example would be the loot table script, which has been altered to provide more flow line products, avoiding getting 20 warlock things in one run of MC.
I wish to confirm how weapon ability functioned in vanilla as opposed to private servers. I know for a fact that lots of private servers such as elysium intentionally altered the mechanisms with weapon ability to reduce the massive gap between +4 weapon skill and +5 so as to make it more linear (you would essentially gain like 3% hit from 304 to 305 weapon skill when fighting a boss). In general this is actually the only thing I think you missed that is a hotly debated subject among server communities.
I played so I understand horse spawn type/level/name and all place vanilla beta rerolled on almost all fresh server. I know that servers are like vanilla. Virtually all mining and plant vein place aren't where they were, many missing and many additional location (do not understand why they havent used gatherer databases for location and type), their kind also distinct and the"infrequent" vein spawn mechanism is non existent (mended gold or truesilver etc. place even tought in vanilla almost any mithril iron and these had a %chance to spawn their rare equivalent), pursuit item locations are different (for example tanaris Gahz'ridian decoration things near ogres have a different location on earth and lots of missing), about 80 percent of those mobs spawn at a different location, have distinct motion paths. In buy classic wow gold vanilla their level was random + / - 1 level, on personal servers they respawn as type and same lvl.
